Returns & Refunds

Our return windows and conditions. These terms do not limit any rights you have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act or other mandatory consumer law.

    Step 1

    Cancelling or changing an order

    Need to cancel or change an order? Email support@roofingservicesqt.com as soon as possible with your order number. If your order has not yet been dispatched, we will cancel it and refund you in full, or amend it for you.

    Once an order has been dispatched it cannot be cancelled — follow the returns steps below instead.

    14-day returns on tools

    Tools and accessories may be returned within 14 days of delivery if they are unused and in their original, unopened packaging. To start a return, email support@roofingservicesqt.com with your order number.

    Non-defective items that have been used or returned in opened packaging are not eligible for a refund.

    Step 3

    Chemical products — opened items

    For health, safety and regulatory reasons, the Moss & Algae Removal spray and any chemical treatment cannot be returned for change-of-mind reasons once opened or if the tamper seal is broken.

    This does not limit your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act. If a chemical product is faulty, not of acceptable quality, not as described, or not fit for its stated purpose, you are entitled to a remedy even if it has been opened — see 'Faulty, damaged or not as described' below.

    Step 4

    Faulty, damaged or not as described

    If an item arrives damaged, leaking, faulty, or significantly not as described, you are entitled to a remedy. Contact us within a reasonable time at support@roofingservicesqt.com with your order number and photos, and we will arrange a replacement or refund — we would rather put it right directly than have you raise a payment dispute.

    For a damaged or leaking chemical product, do not use it: keep it sealed where safe to do so, photograph it, and contact us for disposal guidance and a remedy.

    Nothing in this policy excludes the guarantees you are entitled to under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act or other mandatory consumer protection law that applies to you.

    Step 5

    Return shipping & refund timing

    Unless an item is faulty or sent in error, return shipping is the customer's responsibility. We recommend a tracked service.

    Once we receive and inspect your return, approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Refunds are made in USD.

    How to start a return

    Email support@roofingservicesqt.com with your order number and the reason for return. We will confirm eligibility and next steps before you send anything back.
